This is my first blog.  My cousin in Missouri started blogging here and this seemed so much easier than the other blog sites I have explored.

I live in Seattle, mom of two teenage sons.  My hobbies include cooking  (I harbor a secret dream of becoming a caterer--I make a mushroom scallion quiche to die for....although some people do pine after my bacon onion quiche), jewelry making--check out my etsy site at www.chrysalisjewels.etsy.com  (no jewelry posted yet but soon).   I love most music except for fusion and rap.

I don't have much time to read but when I do I loved the Bronte sisters' writing and Jane Austen. 

I have a cat and dog,  love Seattle but miss my home state of Missouri quite a bit.
